I first contacted A-1 Roofing because the company was local to Middletown RI. I have used the company several times for different jobs (roofing, cedar shingle siding and installation of replacement windows). Each time, the work was completed with quality workmanship and on-time. I will use this company in the future for remodeling projects.

After competitive bidding and review of prior work, hired Sean A-1 for re-siding of cedar shingle home, including porches, copper gutters. Quality of work was excellent - carpentry exceeded all expectations. Sean was responsive to questions, very straight ahead and honest. When rot was encountered he sent pictures so I could see it and his recommendations of what to do. Came in exactly on budget. Neighbors remarked how pleasant the workers were, demolition contained and cleaned up immediately. When hurricane Sandy hit my Newport roof hard, I called A-1 after hearing a lot of good reviews from around town. I am so glad I did! Sean Napolitano is easy to get a hold of, and was such a help when dealing with the Insurance company- providing me with quick estimates and substantiating expenses in the way that the insurance co. needed me to- , and his team of professionals came out quick to get the work done. I was sure it would take longer, considering the wide spread damage around the area, but the A-1 team made me feel like a priority. They did a great job of cleaning up, as well, and I found the whole process of getting a new roof pretty stress-free. What more can you ask for?
